What format are the photos in?
All BigMonkeyPhotos.com photos are in JPG format.(Zero compression, 300DPI)

Do you offer larger image sizes?
Not at the moment although we are planning to do so in the future. The photos that are sold now are not meant for use on large billboards or posters, but for websites, books, magazines, presentations, merchandising (mugs, t-shirts,...), brochures,postcards,... If you are uncertain if a certain photo will meet your project requirements, ask us at support request before you buy the photo. We only want happy customers.

I can't find what I'm looking for. Do you take suggestions?
Yes, by all means. Send your suggested topic through the support request page and we'll tell you as soon as possible if we can shoot the photo you're looking for. We also take assignments to shoot photos in the large part of Western Europe.

I want to buy/see a photo in my currency?
No problem. Click on the "2Checkout" order button and by clicking on one of the flags on the next page, you can see the price in your currency and order.

Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.

Can I submit photos to sell?
Right now the only photos that we sell are the ones taken by BigMonkeyPhotos.com and its partners. In the future we may consider this.

Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned.  (view also next question)

Are your images digitally altered?
No, all images are uploaded as they are taken. If you know how you can change them in any way you like. Should there be a problem with the photo you bought (e.g. under-exposed, too dark), and we feel that your complaint is valid, we will provide you with a new copy according to your instructions. 

Are there any restrictions on my use of the BigMonkeyPhotos.com photos that I download?
Yes. While BigMonkeyPhotos.com offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format.

If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
No, an unlimited membership allows you full access to download any photos on our site at no extra charge.

Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.

I bought a subscription, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do?
On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase of our yearly subscription and you are not able to access photos BigMonkeyPhotos.com using your details, send a support request.
